This is Heathwood. Developed in the 1910's and 20's it is one of Columbia's wealthier in-town neighborhoods. Probably Lake Murray and Wildewood have more expensive homes, but these are more classic in my opinion.
This is the best tulip tree I saw on the day of this photoshoot, located on Kilbourne Road. I love tulip trees, but I'm not sure what their real name is.
I'm not sure how big this house is, but it must be at least 10,000 square feet. It has a large area on the right side, also, but I couldn't get a good picture of it. I will have to get back to this neighborhood when the azaleas are in bloom because they are awesome.
I didn't take alot of pictures in this neighborhood. Wealthy people tend to look at you funny when they see you taking pictures of theirs or their neighbor's houses.
